As we continue to grow, we're looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to lead and expand our market presence.
Position Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer accounts, and developing new business opportunities across North America. This role requires a strategic thinker with an interest in learning the steel industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a hands-on approach to customer service and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet MANA's growth targets.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations based on customer needs and specifications.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and customer agreements.
- Collaborate with rolling mill operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
- Represent MANA at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Assist with post-sale support, including occasional site visits and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, ideally in construction or related industries.
- Exposure to engineering standards (e.g., ASTM or CSA) is an asset.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel across North America as required.
