Overview:
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. We have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill. This position is located in MISSISSAUGA, CANADA.
Responsibilities:
REAL ALLOY PLANT MANAGER
As our new Plant Manager for Real Alloy in Mississauga, you will drive and develop a culture of safety first. Use your leadership experience to develop, implement, and manage facility business plans to achieve operating budget and sales goals. You will steer the overall direction of the facility and carry out management responsibilities in accordance with our organization's policies and applicable laws.
In this leadership position, you will also manage customer communications, champion environmental excellence, and manage resources to maximize returns. Plant Managers oversee major capital, construction, and maintenance programs and drive employee development and productivity.

This Plant Manager position is located in Mississauga, Ontario Canada - only current permanent residents will be considered.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, operations management, or engineering; or other program with relevant manufacturing experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing operations role.
- Minimum five years managerial experience.
- Working knowledge of Lean required, Black Belt certification desirable.
- Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to function with minimal supervision while also leading others toward project goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively and efficiently.
- Results and detail oriented
