Position Overview

We are seeking a Team Lead who will play a pivotal role in overseeing on-site moving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-quality service.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage moving assistants, ensure smooth client communication, and coordinate with our sales and operations teams to ensure every move runs flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • On-Site Management: Lead moving teams on job sites, assign roles, and monitor performance to ensure company standards are met.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Sales & Operations Manager and company leadership for scheduling, updates, and inquiries.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports, flag issues, and communicate additional client needs.
  • Resource Management: Allocate personnel, vehicles, and equipment effectively to maximize efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold company service standards and ensure a professional client experience.
  • Professionalism: Arrive on time, maintain proper uniform standards, and set the tone for the team.

Additional Duties

  • Training & Development: Support, coach, and mentor moving assistants to enhance skills and performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Address on-site challenges with quick, effective solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and regulatory standards are followed.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting Pay: $20-25 per hour (to be confirmed during hiring).
  • Hours: Minimum 10-40 hours per week, with potential weekend and extended hours as required.
  • Probationary Period: 90 days, with a performance evaluation at 3 months (including compensation review).
  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in on-site management, preferably in moving, logistics, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Tech-savvy with scheduling and communication tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
  • Valid driver's license an asset.
