Albany Retirement Village is seeking a Cook to join our team. Albany Retirement Village offers health benefits, consistent hours, opportunities to pick up shifts, and a great work environment.

Your main responsibilities will be to provide healthy and flavorful meals to residents. On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to prep meals, cook and serve meals, put away orders, light cleaning and following recipes. To achieve this, you will be working independently and as part of a team. Your work will enable the company to provide an exemplary service to our community.

Requirements and Qualifications:

You will be a motivated, compassionate, self-starter. You will have successfully completed the Food Handlers Program and a willingness to learn. You will have demonstrated strong skills in time management, organization, leadership, communication and will be available for weekends, available for call-ins, and able to lift 50 pounds.

Shifts: Approximately 32 hours per week

Job Type: Full - Time

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50 per hour
