This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:
Service Operations Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our operation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products within the warehouse facility while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring safe operations.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines.
- Executing routine activities according to established procedures.
- Picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets.
- Transporting boxes, and being responsible for various other collection, storage, and warehouse activities.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase order
- Inspect materials for damage or defects
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hand trucks)
- Maintain accurate inventory records in warehouse management system
Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)
- 1-2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with ERP management systems (SAP)
