Job Description

Seeking a motivated, self-driven, and experienced intermediate estimator with a minimum of 1 year in the construction

industry, looking to work with a growing restoration company to generate accurate and competitive quotations. To succeed in

this role, the right candidate should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you collaborate with

clients and the internal team to deliver results on deadline.

Requirements

 Be comfortable with take-off and pricing masonry, concrete work and other restoration aspects of work.

 Quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, addendum's, material price lists, labor cost per man hour.

 Working closely with the project manager to perform various take-offs, pricing, coordinating tasks and maintaining

tender documentation before bid submission.

 Develop strategies for a competitive edge, budget development/submission, detailed costs estimate and tenders.

 Preparing all required documents as set out in the tender forms.

 Quotes follow up through direct and telephone client communication.

 Communicate and provide bid information with subcontractors and suppliers and review all quotations to ensure the

entire project scope is covered.

 Organize all schedule and bid closing and dates and times.

 The use of company-provided estimating and takeoff software to develop quantities, measurements, and other

pertinent data.

Preferred Qualifications and Required Skills

 Previous experience in construction estimating, specifically restoration works.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, plan swift, adobe acrobat, and dropbox.

 Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate work.

 College diploma or university degree in engineering, Architecture, construction estimating or related fields.

 Able to read architectural and civil blueprints, specifications and develop cost estimates.

 Excellent written and verbal communication in English language.

 Speaking Spanish and Knowledge of Auto cad are asset.

 Remote working could be an option.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,447.38-$60,619.27 per year
