Parks Services Coordinator
Yukon Parks plays a significant role in protecting Yukon's environment, cultural heritage and ongoing traditional use by First Nations and Inuvialuit. Parks protect large landscapes to ensure ecosystems and natural processes continue unimpaired for future generations. Parks also help protect natural and cultural values by focusing recreational use where it is most appropriate and actively managing its impacts. The Yukon Parks Strategy outlines a vision for evolving the parks system to offer enhanced and diversified park experiences and associated client services.
The opportunity
The Parks Services Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating the delivery of high quality and consistent services to park users to achieve the goals of the Parks strategy. The position is dedicated to coordinating, administering and strategizing service delivery to our various clients in parks. This position is responsible for receiving, analyzing, and providing guidance on permit and license applications from commercial operators, park users, and stakeholders and liaising with Parks staff and First Nations to facilitate facility use requests They actively contribute to compliance promotion efforts while supporting reservation bookings for campsites in Yukon Parks, ensuring that every interaction with our diverse clientele reflects our commitment to outstanding service delivery.

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to demonstrate how you meet the following qualifications in your resume. Selection for further consideration is based solely on the information you provide in your application.
- Experience in providing client service in a regulatory environment.
- Experience managing reservations or performing similar logistical administrative tasks through online platforms (Intermediate experience is preferred e.g. feature utilization, trouble shooting, reports)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel (Intermediate experience is preferred e.g. data management, visualizing data)
- Experience planning, coordinating, and promoting events
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
