Job Summary

ABMTax is a boutique accounting firm providing personalized tax and accounting services for small businesses. ABMBooks is our bookkeeping and payroll software designed to help Canadian small business owners manage their finances more efficiently.

We are seeking a Cold Calling Sales Representative to generate leads and convert prospects into clients. The ideal candidate is a motivated salesperson with experience in outbound sales and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to small business owners in Calgary
  • Present and explain the benefits of ABMTax's accounting services and ABMBooks' bookkeeping and payroll software
  • Identify and qualify potential leads, setting up follow-up appointments as needed
  • Overcome objections and address client inquiries effectively
  • Track interactions and maintain accurate records of calls and progress
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to optimize outreach strategies

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of cold calling or outbound sales experience
  • Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills
  • Confident and engaging phone presence, with a self-driven and goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to navigate objections and close deals effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment
  • Knowledge of tax-related services is a plus
  • Experience with CRM software is beneficial but not required
  • Must be available for in-person work in Calgary during office hours
