Our Managers demonstrate a high level of technical, industry knowledge and skills, specifically in the areas of Project Management within Banking and Financial Services.

You will bring solid working experience and an in-depth understanding of the processes within Banking and Financial Services industry. You are confident and have the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to changing needs and working environments while working independently and within a team.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, participate and oversee overall project management through planning and administration which includes building and overseeing progress reports, client briefings, program plans, communications, client briefings, presentations, deliverables and reporting
- Lead project teams, project timelines and deliverables
- Participate in change management activities including current-state and future-state process mapping, standard operating procedure changes, and training
- Ability to identify project issues and risks and prepare mitigation plans
- Ability to develop, manage, and execute end-to-end solutions to clients' needs and requirements
- Oversee assigned work related to project deliverables and deliver on time and manage project budget
- Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and mentoring project teams. You will also be responsible for career management, professional development, and supporting employees through Optimus SBR's Career Development Program (CDP)
- Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions
- Participate in proposals development and other sales support, including identifying and assisting in selling extensions to clients, managing change order process and building and maintaining business relationship
- Contribute to the life and culture of Optimus SBR
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years relevant working experience
- Previous banking and financial services experience, is required
- Prior consulting experience, including business development experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience in leading enterprise wide (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth, etc.) product and pricing projects
- Experience in managing projects for multi-national Financial Institutions considered a strong asset
- Experience in leading digitization projects
- Experience in scoping and managing enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Experience managing teams
- Strong project management skills
- Strong people skills with an ability to lead, motivate, coach and mentor
- Excellent facilitation skills and ability to sell ideas and recommendation to various stakeholders including C-Level Executives
- Self directed, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Highly developed writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet aggressive timelines
- Innovative and dynamic. Brings an entrepreneurial spirit to our business
- Strong work ethic and someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and committed to developing their career
- Required Education: Related University Degree
- Preferred Education: Post-Graduate degree, MBA, PMP, CMC, CPA, CFA or other relevant designations; or equivalent experience
