1-2 Months, 10-4 Rotation, 10hr Days, $180 LOA, Must be a 2nd or 3rd year Pipefitter. Must have H2S Alive, First Aid, CSTS 2020, WHMIS, Fall Pro, AWP and Telehandler Ticket is helpful.
Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Pipefitter, where your expertise will be essential in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems across various projects. You will work closely with a skilled team to ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to significant construction and manufacturing projects.
What you'll do
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools
- Perform pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and other fabrication processes to ensure precise installations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on existing piping systems to identify issues and implement repairs as needed.
- Adhere to ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards throughout all work processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during projects.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in pipefitting or related fields.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools for precise work.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials safely.
- Background in manufacturing processes related to pipefitting or assembly work.
- Understanding of pipeline installation techniques and plumbing systems.
