We're looking for a driven Senior Commercial Broker to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a client-centered insurance professional who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns their success with that of the customer. We're boldly going where no insurance broker has gone before
Reporting to the Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing complex accounts, facilitating renewals, and retaining high-value business.
Bonus: There's no cold calling or prospecting required - we provide the leads and accounts Responsibilities:
- Supporting and effectively managing the renewal process for existing customers within your complex account portfolio.
- Carefully reviewing all accounts policy data for accuracy.
- Maintaining effective communication with clients to fully understand their insurance requirements and making recommendations accordingly.
- Advising customers on any gaps in coverage and recommending additional coverages to consider.
- Liaising with Insurance partners to create the best possible insurance packages for each client.
- Licensing & Commercial Experience: You hold a valid broker license for your province and have 3+ years of P&C experience. Previous commercial broking experience is strongly preferred.
- Professional Development: CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is a bonus.
- Client-First Communication: You're skilled at translating complex insurance concepts into simple, clear language that clients appreciate.
- Workflow Efficiency: Proven ability to utilize a BMS or other digital tools to streamline your workflows and manage high-volume client data.
- High-Impact Collaboration: You thrive working with colleagues, underwriting teams, and partners to achieve shared goals and deliver seamless service.
- Solution-Oriented Drive: You approach challenges with persistence and agility, consistently meeting set targets and finding innovative solutions.
- Exceptional Organization: You have strong prioritization skills and demonstrated flexibility in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-Focused Execution: You maintain a sharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all policy and account management processes.
