About the Role

We are seeking a human resources professional to join our team as our People Coordinator

.

The successful candidate will:

  • Create and implement firmwide performance management, mentorship and coaching systems
  • Lead firm cultural development initiatives
  • Draft, implement, and train on the firm's workplace policies and procedures
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding
  • Administer contracts, payroll, benefits, and vacation planning
  • Manage the firm's human resources IT assets (e.g. Bamboo H.R., Notion, excel documents, etc.)

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in human resources
  • Exceptional technological and artificial intelligence competency
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and file management skills
  • Highly independent, accountable and self-directed
  • Demonstrated commitment to community service, ethics, and professional excellence
  • Experience using Notion and BambooHR is an asset
  • Experience in professional services (e.g. legal, accounting, engineering, etc.) is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $68, FTE); $41, FTE)
  • Vacation pay
  • Firm performance bonus
  • In office
  • Regular office hours: 9:00am – 5pm, flexible hours available provided performance targets met

Target & Performance Expectations

  • 3 days/week (.6 FTE), with opportunity to move to full time as the firm grows
  • 50+ community contribution hours per year
  • KPIs for team member performance and development
