MiniBins is a growing medium sized waste and recycling hauler. We have trucks of all sizes that are modern and well maintained. Most of our employees have been with us for years as there is very little turn over. It is very important to us to hire reliable, considerate and professional drivers.

We are hiring for full-time positions (not seasonal hire) in our Front Load division.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her assigned stops and to the correct disposal site; read a map and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
  • Interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify damaged waste bins, boxes, and tag containers for repair.
  • Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.
  • Monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally fit at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the cab daily.
  • Complete required route/log sheets & other reports, as required.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB, IN AND OUT OF TRUCK ALL DAY LONG, LIFTING ITEMS IN ALL TYPES OF WEATHER

We run onboard computers in the trucks so basic functionality with smartphones and computers is an asset.

Required experience:

  • Front load driving: 1 year of experience with class 3
  • Roll-off experience is an asset, but willing to train. Can be class 3 or 5 with air endorsement
  • Pull up , Jitney and Low Pro - All you need is a class 5 with driving experience
