Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while managing your own vehicle and operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle for the transportation of freight.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on your vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Consumption of your own fuel.
  • Average daily route kms.
  • 5 days work with an average of 33 working hours per week.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and necessary endorsements.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues as they arise.
