Store Manager – The UPS Store

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of The UPS Store. You'll oversee a small team (1–2 part-time employees) and ensure every customer enjoys a positive, efficient experience.

Our store provides a range of services including shipping, professional packing, printing, binding, shredding, faxing, and mailbox rentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily store operations and supervise staff.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service—greet customers and identify their needs.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail accurately to mailboxes.
  • Process sales using the POS system; handle cash, debit, and credit transactions.
  • Weigh, measure, and prepare packages for shipment using courier software and proper labeling.
  • Professionally pack items for shipping using approved materials and methods.
  • Track and trace shipments; handle shipping claims as needed.
  • Maintain store appearance—stock shelves, keep the store organized and clean, and report inventory needs.
  • Reconcile cash and payment transactions at the end of each day.
  • Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and other office machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Open and close the store, including securing the premises.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Availability Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $42,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
