Superior Airways – Aircraft Maintenance Stores Personnel

Superior Airways is seeking to add a Stores Personnel to our growing team.

Superior Airways is an established float and wheel charter company located at the Red Lake Airport. We operate a diverse fleet including King Air 200s, Piper Chieftains, Cessna Caravans (on wheels and amphibious), and De Havilland Otters and Beavers on floats, servicing Ontario and Manitoba.

Position Overview

The Aviation Stores Keeper is responsible for managing and maintaining aviation inventory, including spare parts, tools, and supplies. This role ensures accurate stock records, proper storage conditions, and optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. The Stores Keeper will coordinate closely with maintenance teams, adhere to aviation regulations, and ensure timely procurement of materials. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining an efficient and compliant aviation supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ship components for repair and coordinate returns
  • Communicate with shipping companies and customs brokers.
  • Obtain quotes for parts and materials.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and perform regular inventory counts.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors
  • Coordinate sourcing, tracking, storage, and distribution of parts in accordance with maintenance manuals
  • Manage repair orders, core units, and return-to-inventory items.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to meet material needs and support maintenance schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience with WinAir Inventory Management software considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits

· Wage: $25-35/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

· Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

· Benefits: Vision, dental, and extended health coverage

· Relocation assistance available for the right candidate

· Must hold a valid driver's license
