Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accurate pricing and timely submission of bids. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a solid understanding of construction estimating practices. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and negotiation throughout the estimating process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projects using Planswift or Stack Estimating software.
  • Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information and documentation for accurate pricing.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to ensure comprehensive estimates.
  • Assist in the negotiation process with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related correspondence for future reference.
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure estimates are completed promptly and submitted on schedule.
  • Provide support in project management tasks as needed to ensure successful execution of projects.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Planswift or Stack software is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost analysis techniques relevant to construction projects.
  • A background in construction or engineering is a plus, enhancing your understanding of industry standards and practices.
