  • Work with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and Lead Engineers to define technical scope, estimate work, and remove blockers.
  • Lead and influence technical design, architecture, and development for data-driven solutions.

Enable Innovation & Platform Growth

  • Support the integration of advanced data technologies, including AI/ML, data visualisation, and analytics capabilities.
  • Champion knowledge-sharing and experimentation with emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Contribute to improving onboarding, operational efficiency, and engineering consistency across regions.

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Leadership experience in software or data engineering, with a track record of delivering impactful products.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, SDLC, and scalable, secure platform architecture.
  • Hands-on background in data engineering or related disciplines, ideally with cloud-native practices (Azure or AWS).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.
  • Passion for fostering innovation, improving developer experience, and delivering at pace.

Desirable

  • Experience in multi-region or matrixed engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with modern data frameworks (e.g., Python, Scala or Spark).
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and DevOps practices.
