The long awaited Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria is finally coming to BC. We are building our opening team and looking for a friendly and energetic Front Counter Attendant who can welcome guests, take orders, serve beer, prepare basic barista beverages, and represent our brand with pride. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, so strong communication and a passion for hospitality are essential.

Duties

  • Greet guests with warmth and excitement, explaining what makes Big Mama's and Papa's unique, including our world record pizza.
  • Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone with accuracy and confidence.
  • Prepare simple barista style drinks. Full training will be provided.
  • Pour and serve beer responsibly.
  • Educate guests on menu items, promotions, and our extra large and world famous pizzas.
  • Operate the POS system, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter area.
  • Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely order delivery.
  • Assist with packaging takeout and delivery orders as needed.
  • Support the team with various tasks during busy periods.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, counter service, or barista work is an asset.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments.
  • Positive energy, reliability, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Serve It Right certification required before starting.
  • Food Safe Level 1 is an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
