- Alberta Courts Technology Ecosystem
Scope
- Court Technology Services, within the Alberta Courts is seeking a senior enterprise architect to support and oversee the technology ecosystem of the Alberta Courts.
Duties
- This role is responsible for understanding and describing Alberta Courts and translating it into an overall technical architecture vision, strategy and ensuring architecture standards and principles. This includes the active communication and promotion of the vision, strategy and principles. This role is also responsible for defining the enterprise architecture framework to avoid redundancy, have integrated, cost-effective solutions and provide a common foundation for all system, service and infrastructure developments.
- Develop and Maintain Enterprise Architecture (EA) Frameworks
- Align Technology with Business Strategy
- Assess Current State Architecture and Create Target State Architectures
- Guide Large-Scale Transformation Projects
- Set Standards, Principles, and Governance
- Evaluate and Recommend Technologies
- Collaborate with Stakeholders
- Model Business Processes and Capabilities
- Risk and Security Management
- Support Solution Architects and Engineering Teams
- Cost Optimization and Technical Debt Management
Note
Working Hours:
- Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the Province
- Work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues.
- The role will be hybrid, however in the event of an onsite meeting, the GoA does not pay for travel to attend on-site meetings, nor any expenses related to relocation, commuting, housing/accommodation, food/drink.
Notes on work model and location:
- The role is expected to follow a hybrid model, which may include a minimum of three days in the office, typically Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and one other scheduled day. This arrangement is subject to change and can be discussed further with the selected candidate.
