Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with automotive maintenance and repair. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service to our customers. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The position involves performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, ensuring vehicles are safe and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete services accurately
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issues when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed
  • Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
  • Manage multiple service orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Support sales efforts by informing customers about additional services and products offered
  • Heavy lifting of vehicles or parts may be required during routine maintenance tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous dealership or mechanic experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair procedures
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance standards and safety procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
