Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our mobile tire service team. The ideal candidate will have experience working at tire shop or automotive repair environment, possess mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing tire repairs, replacements, and related maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance. The Tire Technician will play a vital role in delivering quality service to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

  • Remove and install tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth; recommend replacements or repairs as needed
  • Perform wheel balancing and alignment procedures to ensure optimal vehicle handling
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tire equipment and tools to ensure proper operation
  • Assist customers with tire-related questions, sales, and recommendations for replacement or upgrade options
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures
  • Manage heavy lifting of tires and wheels safely, following proper ergonomic practices
  • Document all services performed accurately in the vehicle's maintenance records

Skills

  • Prior dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire technology
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and sales processes is a plus
  • Knowledge of wheel alignment and balancing techniques beneficial
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
