About the role

We're looking for a Manager, Cyber Threat Protection, to join our growing team

What you'll do here:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Security analysts and engineers across several sites, fostering their professional and technical growth through coaching and career development plans.
  • Manage the architecture, engineering, and operational support for the organization's proactive security solutions.
  • Oversee the management and operations of security technologies, such as Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Mobile Device Management (MDM), eMail Security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
  • Create, maintain, and enhance processes in support to the delivery of security functions.
  • Identify, launch, deliver, and lead initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening cyber security controls in alignment with business and technological needs.
  • Supervise the selection and implementation of new security products and solutions.
  • Address new trends in the security including vulnerabilities, patches and attack vectors.
  • Ensure the execution of security controls and ongoing improvement based on a risk-based approach.
  • Prepare, maintain a metrics dashboard and present it monthly to leadership to identify security control deficiencies, promote security enhancements and foster continuous improvement.
  • Develop, communicate and execute a long-term technical roadmap ensuring a risk-based approach that aligns with business goals and needs
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce enterprise-wide information security policies, procedures, and standards.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5 years in information security or cybersecurity with minimum 3 years experience managing technical teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant field with equivalent education and experience. CISSP, CISM, or other recognized certification in information security is an asset
  • Experience with key components of cybersecurity such as network & infrastructure security, access and identity management, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, security governance, risk and compliance, security architecture, encryption and data protection.
  • Experience in heterogeneous and complex IT environments in Cloud, SaaS and on-prem.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with diverse teams and managing crises effectively.
  • Bilingualism is an asset (FR-EN) - For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
