Role Description

As an Expert in Cyber Defense, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding organizations against cyber threats. This full-time hybrid position, based in Montreal, QC and Europe , combines onsite collaboration with flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures, performing threat assessments, leading incident response efforts, and conducting regular security tests and audits. Additionally, you will provide guidance on best practices, contribute to the development of cybersecurity strategies, and collaborate with partners globally to enhance security frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Cybersecurity Concepts, Threat Analysis, and Vulnerability Assessment
  • Proficiency in Incident Response, Risk Mitigation, and Security Solution Implementation
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and Compliance Standards
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills
  • Experience with Partner and Client Relationship Management
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a hybrid work environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
