The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to support and evolve a large-scale, hybrid SAP landscape. This role offers the opportunity to work across on-premise and cloud environments, including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and integrated enterprise platforms, while playing a key role in system reliability, performance optimization, security, and automation. The successful candidate will partner closely with infrastructure, application, security, and testing teams to ensure high availability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the SAP ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, download, and install SAP support packs; perform system upgrades, production failovers, and ongoing monitoring of ABAP and Java environments.Provide advanced application and technical support across OS, database, network, clustering, and system dependencies.Configure and manage SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) to monitor SAP and non-SAP systems, including alerting on resource and service failures.Deliver operational support for OpenText components, including ICC, Archive Server, and VIM.Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to maintain high SAP availability and performance.Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures and SAP best practices.Design and architect SAP systems across multiple platforms; configure and optimize S/4HANA Cloud environments.Manage transports, client copies, application parameters, performance tuning, and security enforcement.Monitor application performance and collaborate with SAP to optimize system efficiency using analytics and performance data.Support SAP migrations, upgrades, and user adoption initiatives; implement automation and process improvements.Ensure compliance within hybrid SAP landscapes and support risk assessments and audit requirements.Integrate SAP systems with SAP BTP, supporting secure connectivity and governance. SAP BTP & Cloud Responsibilities Manage entitlements, quotas, and provisioning of SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, Build Apps, Launchpad, etc.).Create and manage service instances, keys, bindings, and destinations for secure HTTP, SOAP, and RFC connectivity.Install and configure SAP Cloud Connector for on-premise integration.Integrate Azure AD → IAS → SAP BTP via IPS, including trust configurations and automated user synchronization.Connect SAP BTP with S/4HANA, Event Mesh, Process Automation, APIs, and CPI.Enable, monitor, and troubleshoot CPI flows, audit logs, alerts, bindings, and performance issues.Monitor usage, optimize resources, and clean up unused services and instances. Testing & Automation Tools Install, configure, and maintain Tricentis tools (Tosca Server, Distributed Agents, NeoLoad).Apply patches, manage backups, and monitor overall system health.Manage integrations with Jira, ALM tools, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Sauce Labs, qTest, Tosca, and NeoLoad.Configure repositories, workflows, and automation frameworks.Deliver training, maintain documentation, and optimize execution environments for large-scale automated testing.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis Administration experience in large-scale SAP environments with multiple modules and applications.At least 2 years of hands-on SAP HANA experience. Strong expertise in SAP NetWeaver configuration for both ABAP and Java systems, including: STMS ICM settings SSO and SSL configuration Configtool and NetWeaver Administrator (NWA). Solid understanding of SAN, operating systems, networking, clustering, and advanced hardware concepts. Proven experience with S/4HANA architecture, SAP BTP, cloud platforms, and enterprise security. Deep knowledge of identity and security services, including IAS, IPS, and Azure AD. Hands-on experience with integration tools such as Cloud Connector, CPI, and APIs.
