Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and customizing dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental appliances. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental materials and techniques. The Dental Technician plays a vital part in supporting dentists and enhancing patient care through high-quality laboratory work.

Duties

  • Fabricate dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers based on detailed specifications and dental impressions
  • Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design dental prosthetics with accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and process dental materials including waxes, porcelains, composites, and metals
  • Collaborate with dentists to ensure restorations meet functional and aesthetic requirements
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all tools are properly calibrated and sanitized
  • Follow precise laboratory procedures to ensure the quality and durability of all dental appliances
  • Document work processes accurately for patient records and quality control purposes

Experience

  • Prior experience in a dental laboratory setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with CAD software used in dental prosthetic design is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial
  • Laboratory experience involving the fabrication of dental restorations or appliances is advantageous
  • Dental office experience or background in dental assisting can be a plus for understanding clinical needs
