Toronto, Ontario, Canada Element Fleet Management Full time

Get started on an exciting career at Element
Element employees make a difference in the lives of others every day. We are re-defining the fleet management industry to be people first, then business – delivering on our promise of a superior client experience. This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.

About The Role
Element is building the financial backbone for our growing Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) business and we're looking for a Manager, FP&A to lead it. Reporting to the Director, Global FP&A, you'll design KPI frameworks, stand up a scalable P&L and reporting stack, and translate complex data into crisp insights that drive pricing, product, and investment decisions. You'll partner closely with Product, Treasury, Billing, and Technology to shape strategy and accelerate profitable growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead SME business planning by translating business cases into actionable KPIs; deliver insights on pricing, product design, and performance levers to grow revenue and margin.
  • Build and maintain the SME P&L and reporting structures on our new platform (incl. EDW), enabling granular revenue/cost/profitability analysis and scalability for enterprise adoption.
  • Drive strategic projects across billing/GL structure, payments, securitization and funding with Treasury, and new product launches (starting with Maintenance & Fuel, then expanding).
  • Own high-value ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support executive decisions, resource allocation, and long-term growth.
  • Influence senior leaders with clear, data-driven storytelling, challenge assumptions and guide toward financially sound choices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 7–10 years progressive finance experience, ideally touching product economics, structured finance, or platform transformation.
  • Strong technical finance toolkit: GL structures, reporting frameworks, KPI development, and P&L management.
  • Advanced analytical/problem-solving and communication skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with finance/data systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, OneStream, SQL, Power BI or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional designations (CPA, CFA, MBA).
  • Financial services, banking, or fintech experience.
  • High-ownership, self-starter who builds frameworks from scratch and thrives in ambiguity; excellent partner to cross-functional teams and executives.

: Toronto
