Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Professional Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with residential and/or commercial painting projects and takes pride in delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work. This role requires strong technical skills, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining clean and safe job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, patching, priming)
  • Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
  • Protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas from paint damage
  • Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
  • Follow safety guidelines and job specifications
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a professional painter
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred)
  • Ability to lift ladders, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with residential and/or commercial projects
  • Ability to read blueprints or work orders
  • Safety training (a plus)
