The Opportunity

  • Communicates budget policies and procedures to CSFS management and provides advice and training to staff
  • Calculates program target funding allocations and ensures that previous decisions on specific funding issues are reflected accordingly
  • Advise management on CSFS policies and reporting requirements
  • Analyzes actual and forecast budget information and identifies significant variances

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
  • Enrolment in the CPA program is an asset
  • Certified Aboriginal Finance Manager is an asset
  • Experience in conducting financial forecasts and analysis and in supporting budget evaluation processes
  • Experience in analyzing financial and accounting statements and recommending reallocations
  • Experience in developing financial statements and reports
  • Alternate combination of education and experience may be considered

Wage Range:
The target hiring range for this position is $ to $ per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
