Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender?Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all food safety and handling standards are met. Prior experience in the food industry, especially in restaurant or bar settings, is a must. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent time management skills and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company recipes and standards.
  • Use POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Qualifications

  • Valid Proserve.
  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is a must.
  • Must be available to work on Weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
  • Good knowledge of Wines & Cocktails is a must.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following legal requirements.
  • Must be personable, professional, and able to work effectively in a team setting.
