We are excited to announce an opening for a Marketing Assistant, a dynamic company specializing in Manufacturing and Wholesale Carpets/Rugs industry in Canada and United States. We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our marketing team and support our growing operations.

Position: Marketing Assistant

Location: North York

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our marketing efforts while also assisting with logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in both marketing and logistics, enabling them to contribute effectively to our strategic initiatives and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote company's products.

  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely imports without delays & incurring demurrages.

  • Implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation and inventory management.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with logistical capabilities.

  • Maintain marketing databases and track campaign performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Canadian bachelor's degree in marketing, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in marketing and logistics roles in Canadian market (4+ years preferred).

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software/tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
