Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Baker. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality baked goods and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking and cake decorating, and will thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
  • Decorate cakes with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets company standards.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Handle food products safely, following all guidelines for food handling and storage.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers and addressing their needs.
  • Package baked goods for sale or delivery, ensuring quality control during the process.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a baker setting is preferred.
  • Strong skills in baking techniques are essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
