Overview

We are seeking an eager and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide maternity leave coverage for comprehensive nutrition-based, patient-focused care.

Duties

  • Weight Management Clinic
  • Hormone Clinic
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team – including physicians, prescribing pharmacists, respiratory therapists, personal trainers, and allied health professionals— to develop, implement, and adjust individualized, evidence-based nutrition care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments using anthropometric, biochemical, clinical, and dietary data. Monitor patient progress, and adapt nutrition interventions to support clinical outcomes and overall wellness.
  • Serve as the nutrition subject-matter expert within the care team, offering guidance on nutrition interpretation, therapeutic diets, and lifestyle-based interventions aligned with medical treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes within electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure continuity of care and interprofessional communication.
  • Utilize EMR platforms, nutrition analysis software, and meal-planning/meal-prep programs to design personalized nutrition plans, support adherence, and track patient outcomes efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta
