Become a key member of the Rona team Make a difference by ensuring that the backstore and returns are managed smoothly. Your attention to detail and efficiency will be essential to our success, and you'll contribute directly to an exceptional customer experience while building your career in a dynamic environment
Your role:
- Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory on store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
- Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming products
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory received as well as related administrative documents
- Complete Return to Vendor (RTV) duties; communicate with vendors as necessary
- Work with other store teams with regards to merchandise movement and delivery inquiries and concerns
- Order parts for differents products
- Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
What we're looking for:
- Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
- Experience in a retail environment dealing with inventory handling and stocking
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds daily without assistance
- Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Ability to perform under difficult work conditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, heights, or while being exposed to constant/intermittent sounds (if applicable)
