Shipping & Receiving Coordinator (Day Shift)

Purpose of the Role:

You are responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant shipping and receiving of goods. This role is critical to maintaining production flow, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with production, purchasing, and external carriers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates who can start in a timely manner and are committed to long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against documentation
  • Prepare, package, and process outgoing domestic and international shipments
  • Generate and review shipping paperwork, including international documents
  • Coordinate shipments using UPS and other courier systems
  • Ensure shipments meet internal quality and compliance standards

Inventory & Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with production, suppliers, and customers
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation
  • Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas

Operational Support

  • Assist with light production or assembly tasks as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and basic systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred (not mandatory)

  • Experience with UPS or courier systems
  • Previous shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience

Not Required

  • Tow motor / forklift license

What Success Looks Like at Prahers Shipping & Receiving department:

  • Shipments go out on time and without errors
  • You are seen as reliable, not supervised
