Job Description

Skyhawk Security Services is currently hiring professional Bar Security Guards / Bouncers to support licensed establishments including bars, lounges, and nightclubs.

The ideal candidate is confident, alert, and able to manage high-energy environments while maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patrons and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor entry and exit points
  • Check ID and enforce age requirements
  • Manage crowd flow and prevent disturbances
  • De-escalate conflicts professionally
  • Remove unruly or intoxicated individuals when required
  • Ensure compliance with venue policies and alcohol regulations
  • Maintain a visible security presence
  • Complete incident reports when necessary

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (mandatory)
  • Experience in bar, nightclub, or event security (preferred)
  • Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred (Asset but Not Mandatory)

  • Smart Serve certification
  • Previous bouncer or event security experience
  • First Aid / CPR
