The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Crushing and Screening Operator/Supervisor to join our production team. This role is unique in that it combines hands-on plant operation with team leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, along with strong technical expertise in crushing and screening operations. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Anticipated Start Date: February/March 2026

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of operators, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
  • Operate crushing and screening plants as the principal operator, when required.
  • Provide clear direction, scheduling, and oversight to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and daily inspections to ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, processes, or product.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to align on production orders, timelines, and improvements.
  • Train team members, identify skills gaps, and encourage professional development.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a production or industrial setting.
  • Strong background in crushing and screening equipment operations.
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate heavy equipment, including loaders.
  • Mechanically inclined, with the ability to perform routine maintenance.
  • Proven track record of promoting and practicing workplace health & safety.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (basic reporting and communication tools).
  • Able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
