Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Data Consultant for a contract position based in Mississauga, ON, with a flexible hybrid work model allowing some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves supporting data projects by performing data analysis, assisting with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and contributing to data modeling and reporting tasks. The consultant will collaborate with team members to derive actionable insights, deliver data-driven recommendations, and ensure data accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills, with demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Knowledge of Data Science methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics, including statistical analysis and visualization techniques
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and pipeline creation
  • Familiarity with Data Modeling and database schema design
  • Proficiency in data analysis software, programming (e.g., Python, R, or SQL), or data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, hybrid work environment
  • Previous coursework or experience in data-related fields is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred
