Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic campus hires to join our Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on learning and contributing to building cloud-native platforms, enabling developer productivity, and supporting AI-enabled solutions. Fresh graduates will gain hands-on experience with modern tools and practices such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, and observability while working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and configuring cloud platforms and developer tools like Backstage for self-service capabilities for Developers. (Internal Developer Platform – IDP)

• Support integration of AI-enabled solutions (including Agentic AI) into cloud environments under guidance.

• Help in configuring and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI and Grafana for platform and AI usage metrics.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure smooth integration of AI tools and platform components.

• Learn and contribute to operationalizing cloud platforms with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and similar tools.

• Gain exposure to DevSecOps principles by assisting in implementing security and compliance checks in CI/CD pipelines.

• Participate in scripting and automation tasks to improve platform efficiency and developer experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services.

• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell preferred).

• Knowledge of containers (Docker) and willingness to learn Kubernetes (Container orchestration and management platform).

• Interest in AI technologies and cloud-native development practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps concepts.

• Basic knowledge of AI Application use cases (GenAI, AI Agents, and Agentic AI)

• Understanding of monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus – Monitoring and Logging practices.

• Networking fundamentals.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
