Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Management & Power Platform Solutions, the Summer Intern / Business Analyst is a critical part of TDI's Business Management Team who leverages new and existing tools & applications to optimize and modernize processes, resulting in increased business productivity through reporting, financial planning and forecasting.
The general accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Leverage new and existing tools to enhance workflows and reduce manual efforts through automation
- Review and analyze data, provide recommendations for leadership decision making
- Accountable for the development and oversight of Team / Executive level reporting
- Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for how TD Insurance can better operate in an effective, efficient and simplified manner
- Ensure ongoing partner engagement and alignment on priorities cross-functionally
- Act as a Subject Mater expert on key applications such as the Microsoft Power Applications
- May lead small scale initiatives related to team objectives and key results
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills, ability to handle ambiguity and influence business decisions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presenting skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
Additional Information
- This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th 2026 to August 21st 2026
