Roxa Integrated Clinic (RIC) is devoted to delivering the highest quality support to our clients. We are currently seeking outstanding clinical counsellors who are keen to help Veterans, Refugees, and communities affected by global conflict. New counsellors are encouraged to apply, as we prioritize skill and character above long term experience.

Features:

· Front desk reception staff to manage marketing, client distribution, billing and scheduling and access to Jane.

Requirements:

· Priority will be given to counsellors with training in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, as well as contemporary trauma-informed practices.

· Registration with a governing body and practitioner liability insurance.

· A history of 'doing their own work' so that they are not afraid of emotion, do not rely on manualized treatments like CBT, and can comfortably relate to both clients and co-counsellors.

· Excellent self-care, the capacity to self-regulate and have a means in life of processing traumatic energies so as to maintain life quality amidst a healing profession.

· Proficiency to understand online technology such as the scheduling software, Jane.

Education:

· In most cases, at least a master's degree in a helping profession—most likely counselling psychology—is required. Exceptions may be made if (a) counsellors are outstanding in skill and intuition and (b) their diploma course qualifies them to register with a governing body whose accreditation qualifies their services under insurance plans.

· Priority given to candidates who have educated beyond their graduate programs, in particular in EMDR or somatically based trauma therapies.

Duties:

· Report to the clinical space in Edmonton to see 10-20 clients (typically 50-minute sessions) per week.

· Communicate with and maintain kind and collaborative relationships with fellow practitioners and administrative staff.

· Maintain effective working relationship with reception staff who will allocate clients.

· Engage a life of personal and transpersonal development so as to foster meaning in counselling work and to avoid burnout.

Compensation & Start Date:

· $ depending on experience.

· First round of hiring for positions starting December 15, second hiring round will be January 15, 2026.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
