Reporting to the Sales Director, the Inside Sales Representative – Ventilation will act as a key resource and support for the outside sales representatives in the Montréal territory, as well as for the company's purchasing group and logistics team.

What you will accomplish with us:

Bidding phase

  • Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to identify technical requirements.
  • Review and list the products to be quoted based on the plans, specifications, and proposals.
  • Select appropriate products using manufacturers' pricing software.
  • Ensure that the proposed products comply with the requirements outlined in the plans, specifications, and proposals, in collaboration with outside sales representatives.
  • Prepare and assemble quotations to be sent to contractors.

Sales phase

  • Actively participate in the follow-up of proposals in collaboration with clients and sales representatives.
  • Adjust quotations in preparation for upcoming negotiations.
  • Contribute to or lead negotiations, depending on project needs.
  • Ensure notes and follow-ups are updated to reflect the progress of the proposals being worked on.

Project management phase

  • Evaluate the technical content of plans, specifications, and proposals, ensuring that the proposed products meet the specified requirements, in collaboration with external sales representatives and the Technical Director, as needed.
  • Actively participate in strategic meetings to define closing strategies for key projects.
  • Follow up on projects from the qualification phase through to completion.
  • Provide technical support to clients, sales representatives, and the sales team.
  • Act as a facilitator throughout the entire project execution process.

What You Bring to Our Team:

  • Specialized education in building mechanics (AEC or DEC in Building Mechanics and/or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a relevant field).
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, as well as with suppliers.
  • Strong curiosity and ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to foster a positive work environment.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) – Required due to regular interactions with internal and/or external collaborators across Groupe Master locations nationwide. After evaluation, it has been determined that no other solution allows these professional obligations to be fulfilled.
