Calgary Construction Operations is hiring a
Paver Operator
to support our Paving Division in
Calgary, Alberta
for the 2026 Season.
What Is The Opportunity?
- Operate the paver and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure the asphalt mix is placed to the correct grade and thickness
- Maintain the correct speed and move the paver in a straight line
- Perform daily maintenance and safety inspections
- Preheat the paving screed before asphalt placement
- Monitor and control asphalt mixture temperatures
- Coordinate with trucks delivering asphalt to the paver
What You Bring To The Team
- 2+ years' experience operating a Paver.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
- Maintains a valid Class 5 driver's license or better.
- Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
- Willing to work overtime, nightshifts, weekends, as required.
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
- Other duties as assigned.
