Responsibilities:

· Assisting clients with various personal care activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).

· Perform light housekeeping duties.

· Assist clients with meals.

· Provide respite for families and care givers.

· Transfer/position with mechanical life.

· Documentation (e.g., reporting client concerns, progress notes, incident reports).

Core Requirements:

· Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification

· Must have current CPR & First Aid, WHMIS, and Food Handlers.

· Must have a current Criminal Records Check.

· Must have a Valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle on a daily basis.

· Persons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL Program; students in nursing; and CCA programs may apply.
