What you'll do

  • Monitor and authorize access to the facility for employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
  • Perform routine inspections of the premises to identify vulnerabilities and ensure safety measures are in place.
  • Document all security-related incidents through detailed reports and logs for future reference.
  • Engage in conflict management by addressing any disturbances or disputes effectively and professionally.
  • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance security measures and develop best practices for loss prevention.

Basic qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement roles.
  • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and techniques.
  • First aid and CPR certification; military experience is a plus.
  • Strong conflict management skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
