About The Role
Seaford Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Accounting Administrator to join our Finance team on a short-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the department's daily accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, data entry, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial procedures.

Your contributions will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and supporting the preparation of financial reports and audits. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Spire, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and formula application
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry, bookkeeping, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Track and record daily financial transactions, maintaining timely and accurate records
  • Maintain general ledger and oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Assist in inventory analyses and reconciliation processes
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Participate in audits and year-end financial reporting activities
  • Document process workflows and maintain comprehensive records for audit purposes
  • Organize and manage financial documentation and filing systems, both digital and physical
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department and assist with various projects
  • Process invoices and payments, update financial records, and analyze bank account reconciliations
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring adherence to payment terms and credit limits
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and inquiries
