YOUR MISSION
In a Dynamic Environment That Requires Considerable Autonomy, You Will Support The Various Cirque Du Soleil Group Business Units In Their Purchasing Needs Of All Kinds
- Managing and coordinating procurement projects of varying scopes: calls for interest, quote requests and calls for proposals related to the business and operational priorities of Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group;
- Closely monitoring processes from production to invoicing;
- Working closely with the Procurement team members and the company's various divisions to determine and understand their needs;
- Supporting and advising internal clients regarding the development of procurement strategies and market analyses to optimize possible procurement leverage;
- Preparing and validating all documents relating to the call for proposals process (NDA, RFI, RFP, evaluation grid, comparative analysis, etc.);
- Carrying out the call for proposals process;
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses of the bids in accordance with the business units' pre-established selection criteria;
- Negotiating procurement agreements (TCO, SLA, risk management);
- Helping draft agreements to include everything that was agreed upon, coordinating and overseeing the validation of the agreements by designated experts (business taxation, insurance and risks, legal affairs) and finalizing the agreement signing process, as per the existing signing charter;
- Actively participating in learning new Procurement group management methods and guaranteeing that the Procurement policy and governance rules (ethics, social responsibility, compliance) are applied for all projects under your responsibility;
- For some projects, evaluating the performance of suppliers in the business units as per the selected performance indicators, and transmitting the information to the relevant business units;
- Calculating and documenting the savings.
In summary, your main objectives will be to help the department achieve maximum savings, obtain maximum value from new agreements, support internal customers in their requests and support the Director of Corporate Procurement in the analysis of KPIs and the implementation of new processes that can help the team.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
- A university diploma in business administration, operations management, law, finance or other relevant field;
- Knowledge of technical and mechanical goods and services;
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications;
- At least three years of relevant experience in a field related to procurement, including at least one year of experience in managing calls for proposals;
- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft tools;
- Unequalled professional ethics;
- The ability to work in a constantly evolving environment, ability to influence a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with your team members;
- The ability to manage several projects at once;
- Very good negotiation skills;
- Excellent analysis skills and attention to detail;
- A great fluency in French and English and excellent communication skills.
