Key Responsibilities:


• DLP Control ruleset Migration:

o Support the migration of DLP control rulesets from the existing platform to the new platform.

o Ensure that all DLP control rulesets, including data identification, classification, and monitoring, are accurately mapped and transferred to the new platform.

o Review and validate current DLP control rulesets and recommend necessary improvements to optimize detection and protection.

o Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data protection requirements and adapt DLP control rulesets to meet those needs.


• DLP Control ruleset Optimization:

o Evaluate and refine existing DLP control rulesets to ensure they are properly configured for the new platform and aligned with organizational goals.

o Develop and test new DLP control ruleset templates for enhanced security and compliance.

o Fine-tune and optimize existing control rulesets to minimize false positives and maximize the accuracy of DLP alerts.


• Collaboration and Communication:

o Collaborate with DLP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of DLP control rulesets into the new platform.

o Provide guidance and support to teams on DLP control ruleset enforcement, data classification, and monitoring post-migration.

o Work with appropriate incident response teams to monitor the effectiveness of DLP control rulesets after migration.


• Compliance and Reporting:

o Ensure that all DLP control rulesets comply with relevant data protection laws, industry regulations, and organizational standards.

o Create detailed reports on the DLP migration process, control ruleset configurations, testing results, and any changes made during the migration.


• Training and Documentation:

o Develop comprehensive documentation for all DLP control rulesets, including configurations, rules, and migration steps.

o Conduct training sessions for security teams and stakeholders on managing and fine-tuning DLP control rulesets in the new platform.


• Testing and Validation:

o Perform thorough testing and validation of all DLP control rulesets post-migration to ensure proper enforcement, accuracy, and detection.

o Address any issues or challenges related to DLP control ruleset execution or migration gaps.

Qualifications:


• Experience:

o 3-5 years of experience in DLP control ruleset management and implementation.

o Proven experience with DLP platform migration or similar large-scale IT security migrations.

o Familiarity with managing DLP platforms (e.g. Forcepoint, McAfee, Digital Guardian, etc.) and cloud-based DLP solutions.

o Strong understanding of data security and data protection best practices.


• Skills:

o Hands-on experience with DLP control ruleset creation, modification, and migration.

o Ability to troubleshoot and optimize DLP control rulesets to minimize disruptions while ensuring maximum data protection.

o Strong analytical skills to interpret data, detect security risks, and optimize security control rulesets.

o Proficiency in scripting or automation tools for DLP control ruleset management (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

o Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance.
