Detailed JD for the role is as follows Role Senior Platform Engineer Objective Purpose Senior platform engineer required with a passion for making other engineers better and enhancing developer experiences. Must have skillsets A broad understanding of DevOps tools, applica-tion and cloud software delivery and processes. Ability to write clean, efficient code and au-tomation across the full lifecycle Design, code, test, debug, and document software, and en-hance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs. Strong communi-cation skills are needed to both gather requirements from the Sun Life communities and communicate the vision of the platform. Required Experience5 years of production level soft-ware development experience with integrating CICD pipelines, automation, modern DevOps patterns.

A problem-solving technologist with experience in software engineering e.g. building integrating with internal platforms or the DevOps stack. Strong coding experience with Java Script Type Script, , and Proven ability to partner with domain SMEs (Delivery Teams, Software Engineers, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, etc.) to analyse, design, and deliver powerful features and capabilities Required Tech stack tools experience Node JST y pe script React Java CICDFull DevOps stack (Git (Bitbucket GitHub), Jenkins, Ansible Security stack (So-narQube, Snyk, Check marx)Restful APIs Markdown Mkdocs AWSNice to have Preferred Skills Backstage framework exposure is a huge plus. Any history of customizing an IDP (like Back-stage) - for example, plugins using React, Typescript andor Node.
