Position Overview:

We are seeking a Content Writer focusing in area of design, development or programming to create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for our software products, and internal processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality documentation that enhances user understanding and adoption.

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Weekly Working Hours: 37.5

Base Hourly Salary: $18

Number of Openings: 1

Responsibilities

· Prepare, review, revise, and maintain business/technical documents based on project requirements.

· Write, format, edit, review, and proofread the documents, such as reports, guides, case studies, and digital plans for a variety of audiences.

· Cross-collaborate with project manager, IT team, and other writers in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet client deliverables.

· Gather and consolidate secondary marketing and technical data from public sources such as government and university reports, company literature, internet sources, and syndicated data resources.

· Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others, ensuring a consistent look and feel.

· Provide support to the project team according to business requirements.

Qualifications

· Currently enrolled in a program related to marketing, business, design, development, programming, or other related fields.

· Experience in writing business plan, SWOT analysis, and digital plans would be an asset.

· Basic knowledge and understanding of IoT concepts, such as ERP, CRM, CMS, UXD, etc. would be preferred.

· Experience with Microsoft Suites, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

· Ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast pace changing environment.

· A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges.

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
